Members Dress Regulations

Please be aware that dress regulations apply on all weekend and event meetings at the Bendigo Jockey Club in the Members' Reserve and BJC officials reserve the right to refuse entry should these guidelines not be met.

Members are responsible for advising their guests of the dress regulations prior to the racemeeting.

GENTLEMEN (including children over 15 years of age)

Gentlemen are expected to maintain a suitable dress standard in keeping with the dignity of the Member's Reserve which includes collared shirts (suit jacket or sports coat optional), tailored shorts and slacks with appropriate sandals will be acceptable.

Not Acceptable:

· Thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs or slippers.

· Singlets

· Beanies

· Football guernsey's

LADIES (including children over 15 years of age)

Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the dignity of the Members Reserve.

· Tailored slacks

· Skirts and dresses

· Tailored ¾ pants

Not Acceptable:

· Thongs (unless dress thongs)

· Dilapidated footwear, scuffs, uggboots or moccassins.

· Tracksuits

CHILDREN

Children are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the dignity of the Members Reserve which includes no thongs or denim.

· Thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs or slippers.

· Only high quality dress denim will be allowed. All other denim including pants in any jean-like cut and coloured jeans, denim pants or jackets, cords, cargo pants, jodhpurs will now be allowed on Cup day.

· Singlets

· T-Shirts

· Beanies

· Rugby tops and football Guernsey's

LADIES (including children over 15 years of age)

Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the dignity of the Members Reserve.

· Tailored slacks
